When Ms Miller was first contacted by Channel 4, she eagerly accepted the offer from the retail guru to transform her shop into a thriving business.

She said: “I have to be honest and admit that I would never have thought about asking Channel 4 and Mary Portas for their help.

“However, when I did receive the call and was asked if I would like to take part in the show, I did not hesitate to say yes.”

Ms Miller worked with Mary Portas to give her shop a much-needed overhaul.

With a full shop redesign and a brand new online presence, the expert turned around the misfortunes of the shop formerly known as Diosa.

Ms Miller added: “I could never imagine the difference Mary Portas has made to my business.”

Mary Portas: Secret Shopper is on Channel 4 at 8pm tonight (March 10).
